A Girl Who Can’t Say No

This cheery admission of bad business practice was lent a surreal visual edge through its Busby Berkeley’esque choreography. The lyrics frame a mission statement that is straight out of The Apprentice and are supported by the sounds of a 1930’s big band. Gilad Atzmon and his Orient House Ensemble are leading lights of the modern jazz scene yet paraphrase Benny Goodman to great effect. All-vintage processing lends the song an appropriately period feel.
